Specialist Italian manufacturer of Automatic Optimising Crosscutting Systems, Salvador, has joined forces with long established UK machinery specialist, Daltons, to exclusively promote a range of crosscutting systems essentially new to the UK market.
An agreement was reached between Dr Christian Salvador and Francis Dalton at Daltons' Nottingham-based headquarters. Now, from October 1, the machine distributors and manufacturers, which is in its 107th year, will commence an exclusive distributorship for England, Wales and Scotland and will be displaying the Salvador Super Push 200 machine on its stand at the forthcoming W8 exhibition at the NEC.
Francis Dalton was delighted to reach this agreement with Salvador, which, like Daltons, is a family run organisation. He said: "This represents yet another step in the steady expansion of Daltons' product range. We have a comparatively young and enthusiastic sales team here headed up by director Andy Walsh, which is keen to add to the company's 'quality portfolio' and the Salvador Crosscutting System seems to fit perfectly in this category.”
Alex Dalton, comparatively new to the company but already an enthusiastic member of the team, added: "I have visited Salvador in Italy and was very impressed by their dedication and commitment to their product range and also by the interest they show in their distributors throughout the world. It is important to them that they work with the right people who will enthusiastically represent their products and we are honoured to have been selected on this basis.”
The Salvador Crosscutting range starts with the Super Push 200 which is a fully automatic programmable optimising up-cut machine and one of these is already on display in Daltons' Nottingham showrooms, but other models which will be promoted by Daltons include the Super Push 250 which is a supremely flexible high production model, and the Super Cut 500 incorporating a power feed system which is designed to meet the most rapid production requirements.
Sales director Andy Walsh said: "This machine will open up opportunities for Daltons, enabling us to submit serious proposals to companies, both large and small, requiring fast, safe and space efficient crosscutting in most timber sizes, whether cut singly or in packs. We look forward to presenting the benefits of the Salvador equipment to both our existing customer base and potential new purchasers.”
